Yesterday, Xu Yuan, a member of the Optics Valley Doctor Volunteer Service Team, who works in Wuhan East Lake Comprehensive Bonded Zone, exposed his "dishonor" to the primary school students in the Optics Valley No. 3 lecture hall. He told the children through his own experience that learning is a long race, diligence makes up for ignorance, and only by persistence and earnest can we gain knowledge.

On the same day, the doctoral volunteer service group of China Optics Valley entered the third primary school of Optics Valley. Xu Yuan and three other high-level talent volunteers of Optics Valley encouraged the primary school students to focus on study and strive for excellence by sharing their learning experience and interactive question-and-answer. Since its inception, the above activities have been held for more than 11 years, more than 120, the response is very good.

It is reported that China Optical Valley Doctor Volunteer Service Group was established in 2007, the members are from the area enthusiastic public welfare doctor groups. The volunteer service group focuses on carrying out a series of activities called "Doctor to Campus", helping to organize and guide theme activities of primary and secondary schools, such as leading students to visit science and technology parks, research institutes and well-known enterprises in the Optical Valley region, to feel the power of high-tech together; Interactive lectures on aerospace, optical fiber technology and scientific drinking water will be held to improve the scientific literacy of students in the district. More than 100 Ph.D.s participated in the program, covering thousands of students from 29 schools in the region.
